OPEN SPACE was started by Kalene Rivers and Daniel Weise to combine their shared passions for art, culture and design. The space is home to thundercut, an art and design studio, SHERBERT Magazine, an independently published art and literature magazine, a gallery featuring the works of artists they find inspiring, and an event space where they can host events they find important and interesting.

The gallery will primarily showcase the Subculture Contemporary art movement. Exhibiting artists with a wide range of influences including street culture, urban environments, independent music, architecture, graphic design, zines, illustration and pop culture. By challenging each artist to use the entire gallery space for their exhibitions and to explore alternative methods of presentation, OPEN SPACE looks forward to offering a truly unique and unexpected gallery experience to it's visitors.
